Sometimes I'll get into fashion phases where I'm too matchy-matchy and I make sure everything in my outfit is the correct corresponding color. Today was not one of those phases and I really enjoyed it. I loved playing around the with yellow-gold-metallic accents.

This is actually a sweater layered over a dress and I found the look quite schoolgirl-ish with a twist. I have always loved plaid and the way it can make my outfit seem a bit more punk. I've written before about how I sometimes still struggle to find my style and can't quite pin it down just yet. I have noticed myself almost peeing in excitement when I come across a piece with studs/spikes/faux leather/plaid/skulls. So maybe I'm a hot-topic lover in denial? Shudder.
